Check Point kicks off new managed security service provider programme

Security vendor Check Point Software has a new managed security service provider (MSSP) programme, which the company says will allow partners to offer features such as security operations centres (SOCs) as a service, and major incident responses.

The MSSP programme offerings like Check Point's 24-7 Horizon Managed Detection and Response (MDR/MPR) solutions, and Incident Response (IR) can be co-branded and white-labelled by partners.

Streamlined onboarding with hands-on support that includes engineering bootcamps, enablement workshops, proofs of concept and operational improvements form part of the MSSP programme, which also provides access to Check Point's network of experts.

Check Point said the new programme is aimed at accelerating partner growth and profitability, and covers network, cloud and endpoints.

MSSPs can benefit from over 300 cloud-native integrations to help automate services, Check Point said.

The security vendor is also promising upcoming pricing flexibility with customised billing options across its security portfolio.

In April this year, Check Point appointed the former head of Amazon Web Services telecommunications business unit, Les Williamson, as its new managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
