HP has announced the winners of its 2022 partner awards which this year had 13 categories, and a newly introduced Legend recognition.
Computer aided design company CADPRO in Avondale took out the HP small to midzise business partner of the year, with signage company Computaleta being acknowledged in digital manufacturing.
PB Tech is HP's print partner of 2022, and IT giant Datacom took out the services award.
Partner winners for sustainability, marketing excellence and commercial PCs went to BDL, Acquire and NTT respectively.
Sales people awarded by HP for their work in 2022 included Securecom's Leyton Kendall and Ingram Micro's Luke Mitchell.
Ingram Micro also named HP's distributor of the year for 2022.
HP's retail partner of 2022 went to Harvey Norman, with Cyclone taking out the education partner gong, and The Laptop Company going home with the enterprise PC partner award.
Market development manager Simon Molloy scooped up the HP Legend award, having been with the US hardware giant for over 20 years.
Of the above, HP said the distribution sales person, sustainability partner and channel sales person categories were nominated by the channel itself, and hotly contested.
“Our partners are the key to our success every day. We are so pleased to recognise them for their willingness to think differently, go the extra mile and for their commitment to HP," Tracey Brewer, HP New Zealand's commercial channel manager, said.
"They have made the judging process very hard and I want to congratulate all our finalists and winners,” she added.
