United States headquartered Infragistics is reopening its New Zealand and Australia office, re-establishing operations in the two markets, having left the region in 2013.
The user interface and experience software development tools vendor appointed Luke Hijikata in November last year to run the Austrasian office from Auckland as its regional manager.
Hijikata's most recent role before Infragistics was as e-commerce manager at Kick Off publishers.
Infragistics counts several well-known global brands as customers, including Exxon, IKEA, and Morgan Stanley.
Software solutions distributor Aquion has been appointed as a strategic partner for Infragistics, the company said.
Sydney-based Aquion will distribute Infragistics enterprise software products, aimed at accelerating application design and development.
Aquion claims 32,000 organisations as customers, with the products it distributes used by some 16 million developers.
