Nathan Knight has been appointed as vice president and managing director of the ANZ arm of storage solutions provider Hitachi Vantara, the California-based company announced.
Knight will be based in Sydney, and report to vice president and general manager Adrian Johnson, across Hitachi Vantara's public sector, enterprise and small to medium-sized business customers.
Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara in May this year, Knight held the managing director of Lenovo ANZ's Infrastructure Group role; prior to that, Knight managed Lenovo's SMB and channel sales at the company's ANZ Data Centre Group.
Knight has also held roles at Acer UK, Gen-i (now Spark Digital) in New Zealand and Talkingtech in Britain among others.
He brings long experience in the technology sector to the Hitachi Vantara role.
“My 20 plus years’ career in technology underpins my understanding of the transformation that technology can deliver to organisations in the public and private sectors, from enterprise through to SMB.”
"I know businesses are on a constant transformational journey to enhance relevance, competitiveness and deliver new services to their customers," he said.
Knight replaces Adrian Johnson, who has moved onto the role of Asia Pacific vice president of Hitachi Vantara’s Digital Infrastructure Business Unit.
