Warrick Flower has been named the new managing director of IT services provider Optimation Group.
Prior to Optimation Group, Flower spent more than 12 years at Datacom, his last role at the solutions provider being its general manager of digital engineering.
He comes from a software developer background, and holds bachelor's degrees in science and commerce from the University of Auckland.
Chairman and founder of Optimation Neil Butler said that Flower has seen the industry from many different angles, starting out his career as a software developer and solutions architect, before moving into business management and leadership roles.
Wellington-based Optimation is focused on low-code solutions, and IT recruitment through subsidiary Presto Resourcing.
It counts the Department of Corrections, the Ministry of Education, JAE Group, Atlantis Health, APIS and Pinnacle Life as customers, among others.
