Digital financial services provider Yodlee, owned by New York Stock Exchange listed Envestnet, has appointed Dr John Harrison as its first head of open banking for Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to Yodlee, Harrson worked as product manager at open banking software developer TrueLayer in Sydney.
He also spent over four years at Westpac as the open banking product owner.
Harrison is a mathematician by training, with bachelors degrees from the University of Tasmania, and a PhD from the University of Newcastle.
At Yodlee, Harrison will lead the company's open banking strategy on both sides of the Tasman.
Envestnet | Yodlee country manager for ANZ, Timothy Poskitt, said Harrison's technical expertise will be invaluable for working closely with customers, driving innovative open banking solutions built on secure, open data.
A spokesperson for Yodlee told CRN NZ that some of the big New Zealand clients of the company include accounting firm Xero, Booster, AMP Wealth and finance software provider Pocketsmith.
Across the Tasman, Yodlee counts Lumiant, WeMoney, Moneythor and Mybond as customers.
